About the Little CEO Market
GoBuB’s Little CEO Market is a quarterly event that teaches young people about the power of entrepreneurship, innovation and learning through experience.
How we’re special.
The magic of our markets come alive as we gently provide and guide children with the information, tools and resources they need to bring to life their vision and ideas to life.
Why we’re important.
The principles and skills learned develop within kids a spirit of play, desire, action, and confidence that permeates their efforts at home, school at work and at play and sets their heights for achievement in these areas ever higher.
How it works.
-
Be sure to reserve a booth and make the one-time payment of $40 which includes a cardboard booth (which you may keep), and a space at our market.
-
We recommend home made crafts (cards, artwork or bracelets), second hand items (toys, books) or sourced items (snacks, drinks).
-
If you set your prices too low, you might sell a lot, but not make much money! If you price your items too high, you could end up selling less than you hoped. You’ll need to do some homework to figure out how much it costs to make your product and how much you can sell it for, to make a profit.
-
In a market full of other booths, what’s going to make customers come buy from you? You’ll need a good marketing plan to stand out from all the others, so you can grab buyer’s attention- and you’ll only have a few seconds to do it! You can decorate your booth using balloons, decorative paper, bright colors and signs to grab people’s interest. Use your imagination and design a plan and strategy that customers will stop and notice, giving you a chance to close the sale!
